I believe in 2020, the car was repaired for a recall notice on the fuel pump.  At the time, I had around 2000 miles on the car.  I now have about 4700 miles on the car.  On September 4th of this year, I was driving on ta road and the car completely lost power on the road.  The accelerator would not work and I had a coast to a turn off.  This sudden loss of power could have caused an accident.  After being sent to the dealership, the notified me that the fuel pump would need to be replaced which to my understanding is the same part that was recalled.  Not only am I notifying NHTSA of the repeated failure of the part that was supposedly replaced and could lead to a crash, I also wanted to notify NHTSA that I am being asked to pay for a portion of the repair, which is significant.  I do not understand why I need to pay for the replacement of a failed recall as I thought that was not allowed by law.   There were a whole series of errors including fuel system error.  The dealership has confirmed the part failure and I have an estimate for the repair.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"ACURA","productModel":"NSX","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
