We had to purchase another vehicle.The manufacturer knew there was problems with the 2016 Trax and instead of fixing the problem, the continued to sale them, now we are stuck with the problem. I\u2019ve since spent $600 on repairs that shouldn't be necessary months after purchase. Emails to the service team went unanswered until I followed up. The car also had an ongoing rotten egg smell.On June 30, I was told they\u2019d replace the aftermarket cat with an OEM. I emailed asking about the A/C and a service history \u2014 no reply. I dropped the car off July 2 or 3, was told it\u2019d be ready July 7, then July 8, then told the issue was actually a cracked turbocharger, not the catalytic converter. I asked if it was safe to drive \u2014 the manager said yes, but everything online said otherwise. I went to the car wash, and when I came out from washing the car, I noticed paint had fell off two spots on my driver side. Apparently this paint in particular has a known issue and GM is not taking responsibility for it. The vehicle was taken to my local Chevrolet dealer & the replaced the differential at a cost of $2901.88. I contact aced Chevrolet customer service and they said it was not covered in any way. I find it strange that it is covered for cars registered in Canada but not in the us. And now, at 33000 miles my dashboard display is black again, and battery is at 100% charge. ALSO WHEN I TOOK THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AND GOT OUT OF THE CAR AND LOCKED THE DOOR AND THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING. THE RADIO WAS STILL PLAYING AND THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO KEY IN THE IGNITION AND IT WAS NOT REMOTE STARTED. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THAT MORNING TO BRING THE CAR IN THAT NIGHT FOR SERVICE THE NEXT DAY. THEY KEPT THE TRAX FOR ROUGHLY 1 WEEK. THE INSTALLED A NEW RADIO, RE-FLASHED AND UPDATED THE COMPUTER, AND RE-INSTALLED THE BACK UP CAMERA SOFTWARE. I PICKED THE CAR UP DROVE ROUGHLY 3 MILES AND BROUGHT IT BACK SAME HOUR DUE TO IT HAVING THE SAME ISSUES. THEY KEPT IT ANOTHER 3 DAYS AND I GOT IT BACK AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS OF WORK AT THE DEALERSHIP. AS OF 06/11/19 I HAD TO TAKE THE CAR BACK IN FOR THE SAME ISSUES: DASH GOING OUT, RADIO GOING OUT, BACK UP CAMERA NOT WORKING, AND THE TRAX STILL RUNNING WITH NO KEY IN THE IGNITION. I CALLED ON 06/12/19 THEY STATED THE CAR WOULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE DIAGNOSTICS COMPUTER AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE RADIO THEY INSTALLED 4 MONTHS AGO. ROAD CONDITIONS, CLEAR DAY TEMPERATURE 60'S 6:50AM ON A MAJOR HWY 141 IN EARTH CITY MO.  THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, CLEAN HIGHWAY NO REASON NOT TO SEE DEBURI ON THE ROAD.  VEHICLE HAS TIRE SENSOR CAPABILITIES, NEVER INDICATED LOW TIRE PRESSURE. INDICATION NEVER HAPPEN UNTIL AFTER THE TIRE BLEW.  I NOTICED ROAD NOISE, SO I CHANGED LANES, IT DID NOT GO AWAY, BUT NOW THE TIE SENSOR ON THE DASH SHOW THE TIE INDICATOR. I DROVE OFF THE HWY TO CHANGE THE TIRE.  IT WAS OBVIOUS THE TIRE BLEW OUT AS A DEFECTIVE TIRE.  HOW COULD I CAUSE THE INSIDE WALL BURSTING.  ELCO DEALER SHIP WOULD NOT WARRANTY THE TIRE BASED ON THEIR DENIAL OF A EXTENDED WARRANTY  I HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW TIRE WHICH I NOW HAVE NO FAITH OF BEING SAFE FOR $136.00.  WITH ONLY 10,200 MILE AND 10 MONTHS OLD I CAN NOT FEEL SAFE WITH THIS TYPE OF PERFORMANCE.  I COULD HAVE LOST CONTROL AND KILLED OTHERS NOT TO MENTION MY SELF.
