While driving normally, the transmission suddenly does not accelerate for up to 3 seconds while pressing the gas pedal, brakes either harshly or too soft at varying times, and very irregularly.  This occurred while accelerating onto the highway, and almost every time I am braking at a stop sign or light, creating a potentially dangerous situation because the truck did not respond as expected when I needed predictable acceleration, propulsion, or deceleration.   I believe this incident may be related to the known 10R80 CDF clutch-cylinder/sleeve problem. Ford technical information identifies axial movement of the CDF sleeve that can cause hydraulic-circuit leaks and harsh or delayed engagement and shifting. This condition can result in slipping, RPM flares, delayed engagement, unexpected gear changes, harsh downshifts, lurching, or loss of propulsion.  This is a safety concern, not merely a transmission quality or reliability issue. Unexpected loss of propulsion or unpredictable shifting while merging, accelerating into traffic, crossing an intersection, turning, traveling at highway speeds, slowing down, and stopping, can create a collision hazard.  Because I personally experienced this unexpected transmission event, I request that NHTSA investigate the 10R80 CDF clutch-cylinder/sleeve condition in Ford F-150s. Please review Ford warranty claims, dealer repair records, transmission replacements, consumer complaints, and field-failure data to determine whether this is a safety defect requiring a recall. The Ford dealership in Beeville Texas Coastal Bend Ford inspected it already and informed me that it would cost $1,400 to replace and that it was only going to get worse. About 3 hours later I was driving up a long grade at about 5,000 feet when I stopped to check on my cargo (a bicycle). At this point I noticed the cooling fans were running increasingly fast,  much faster then they had ever run before. I checked the digital temperature gauge and it showed a normal temperature. I opened the hood and saw there was no coolant in the overflow bottle. I assumed the truck was just a bit low on coolant and I had some (5 liters) water with me so I added that to the overflow bottle. Very little water was visible in the overflow bottle. I replaced the cap, turned off the A/C and immediately headed back to the dealer. At no point did the check engine light come on. At no point did the temperature gauge move from the \"normal\" area. At no point did any warning message of any time appear on the driver display - unless it occured when I was refilling the overflow bottle. The engine was not operating normally however, the gas engine stayed on at all times and did not cycle on and off as it normally would do (truck is a hybrid). When I arrived at the dealer they attempted to fill the coolant system and said it was completely empty - no sign of the 5 liters of water I put into the system.   The cause of the leak was identified as the EGHR system, specifically the plastic coolant inlet port. This failure is discussed in Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 24N04 - attached.  This failure should not have occured. But when it DID occur the vehcile should have warned the driver that a serious overheating event was occuring. No MIL was set. No driver warners were made and the temperature gauge remained in the normal range at all times. The ONLY way I because aware of the problem was by noticing the increasing speed of the cooling fans. The truck will periodically pull all the way to the right of the lane, to the point that the tires are on the right line and I am looking down the center of the lane.  The more I fight to keep the truck in the center of the lane, the more it pulls to the right.  The only way to stop this, other than disabling lane keeping, is to let the truck wander over to the right while barely touching the steering wheel.  It will eventually return to the center of the lane.    The dashboard graphics show a blue circle around the truck to indicate that the truck is in the center of the lane.  When too far to the edge, it will change to show you are not centered.  At no time while the truck is pulling to the right does the truck indicate it is out of position.  Therefore, even though I am correctly centered in the lane, both by my own observation and the truck's indication, the system still pulls the truck to the right.    This appears to be a systemic issue with the system.  Here is a post from 2021 where someone is complaining about the same behavior: [XXX]   This is a safety issue because:  1) It is fatiguing to have the system on and have to constantly fight it to keep the truck centered in the lane.  On frequent 10-hour trips, I have to turn it off because it is adding to my fatigue and workload, even though I would like the benefit of proper lane keeping. 2) I can turn off the system but then I get no driver assistance when I actually drift in the lane. 3) This is most an issue when passing a vehicle in the right lane and the truck veers towards that vehicle.  Again I have to fight the truck to not steer into adjacent vehicles.  The Ford dealer has diagnosed the system and found no issues or software updates. Along with the warnings I was unable to move my shifter as it was stuck on park the whole time. I turned off and restarted the vehicle 8-10 times over the course of 10-15 minutes which in the last try the messages went away and was finally able to put into drive and drive to work. I researched this issue and see a ton of other owners are having similar issues from this model.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150 HYBRID","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]},{"odiNumber":11526426,"manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"06/05/2023","dateComplaintFiled":"06/11/2023","vin":"1FTFW1ED7PF","components":"VISIBILITY/WIPER,VISIBILITY","summary":"Driving on highway at 70mph and sunroof on the vehicle \"explodes/blows out\". It has 1400 miles on it. Sunday afternoon April 30 2023 I could not start my f 150. There was a warning STOP SAFELY NOW and the car would not activate the engine, or disengage the parking brake. I turned everything off and waited a few minutes then tried to activate my f150 again. Again the car was bricked. The next morning May 1 at 8 am the car functioned and normally. I contacted a Ford dealer and was advised to make a service appointment. I did and took the F 150 in for service May 2 2023. It is now at a dealership for diagnostics. Had I been at 70 mph on teh interstate with a warning like STOP SAFELY NOW and then been stranded that could have been very hazardous.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150 HYBRID","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
