I immediately pulled over and inspected the gas cap for tightness. I found that the gasoline cap was sufficiently tight and the sealing surface of the o-ring was okay as well. The gasoline appears to be leaking from the center of the cap where it pops out and lets you turn it. I was not able to tighten the cap in a way that would stop fuel from flowing out of it. I can\u2019t see any seals inside the cap and don\u2019t want to inspect and damage it if this would be beneficial for Harley Davidson to inspect.
