The windows were not loosened; however, the alarm sounded to indicate a failure. The contact had experienced the failure with the 5 school buses he oversaw. The contact stated that the alarm sound prevented the driver from safely operating the vehicle. The contact was able to recreate the failure by jumping up and down outside of the bus. The contact inspected the buzzer alarm; however, the cause of the failure was not found. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
