The representative from Stellantis denied our Lemon Law request of repurchase or replacement of this vehicle. By Jun 2026, under one year of ownership, the vehicle had already spent over 38 days at the dealership for service related issues: airbag issue, steering related failure issue, steering rack replacement, battery replacement, and now on July 9,2026 the vehicle attempted to shift into Park, the electronic parking brake engaged, and the vehicle became immobile while we were actively driving. This produced another safety concern for our family and other drivers on the road. As I approached a busy intersection, I stopped at the red light.  When I attempted to move forward when the light turned green, it moved a few feet (putting us in the middle of the intersection), the vehicle seized and became immobile.  Almost every light on the dashboard lit up.  Several messages flashed back and forth on the screen including \"Service transmission\" and then \"service electronic stability control\".  I immediately tried to use the SOS function, and when they answered,  they were unable to hear me.  A person in a truck behind me told me to put my vehicle in Neutral so that the vehicle could move out of the road as it was blocking traffic.   When I tried to turn the gear dial, it turned, but the P light stayed on and the vehicle would not go into Neutral.  I checked the parking brake and it was not on,  nor would it engage.  The vehicle being stalled, with zero ability to move put my children and I in danger as there was not a safe place to even exit the vehicle as traffic was completely surrounding us.  I tried to turn off the vehicle, but the vehicle stayed in the \"run\" function even after being pressed.  Emergency services was my only next choice.  One more push of the off button and the vehicle finally turned off.  I waited for 2 minutes and tried to turn the vehicle on again.  It did turn on, showing the check engine light.  I then was able to put the car into gear, and it moved.   I moved the vehicle out of traffic to the next available parking lot.  I immediately contacted the dealership and told them I would be having the vehicle towed there for inspection and I do not feel comfortable driving this vehicle again.   Unfortunately,  this is the 3rd time my car has put me in a dangerous situation in the middle of an intersection,  the other 2 being false crash alerts (turning left in turning lane and car thought I was going into oncoming traffic).","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11742624,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"04/18/2025","dateComplaintFiled":"06/08/2026","vin":"1C4SJSGP9RS","components":"ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE","summary":"The following are issues;  -Adas disables mid drive (no warning lights) at highway speeds -steering angle sensors shows not calibrated in live data feed of bscm -air ride stuck in aero mode -select terrain drive modes not functioning as intended -loses all power engine dies at stoplight and eps warning light on -","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11741608,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"01/20/2026","dateComplaintFiled":"06/02/2026","vin":"1C4SJSGP8RS","components":"SEATS,UNKNOWN OR OTHER","summary":"The second-row passenger side seat release button is non-functional. Component/System failure & Inspection Availability The primary failure was the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS); the driver\u2019s frontal airbag failed to deploy during a high-energy frontal impact. Additionally, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)\u2014specifically Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW)\u2014failed to provide alerts or initiate emergency braking prior to impact.  2. Safety Risk The failure created a life-threatening risk. Striking a boulder at 30 MPH caused substantial structural damage, requiring total replacement of the front-right and rear-right suspension assemblies. Despite the severity of the impact, the airbag remained dormant. The lack of FCW/LDW intervention meant zero mitigation was provided to prevent the roadway departure or collision, rendering primary safety features non-functional. 3. Confirmation of Problem The fact that the airbags did not deploy was confirmed by independent inspection following the collision. Assessment of the vehicle damage shows that impact forces were clearly sufficient to trigger the SRS, yet the system failed to activate. While ADAS failure is a dynamic event, the total absence of system logs or alerts during the crash sequence confirms the electronic malfunction. 4. Inspections Performed The vehicle was inspected by an insurance adjuster and collision repair professionals. These inspections documented that the impact was severe enough to cause significant mechanical failure, yet no airbag deployment occurred. The manufacturer (Stellantis/Jeep) has not yet performed a formal data download (EDR) or physical inspection. 5. Warning Lamps & Prior Symptoms No warning lamps, SRS/Airbag indicator lights, or \"Service\" messages appeared prior to the failure. The diagnostic interface indicated all systems were \"Normal,\" pointing to a catastrophic \"silent failure\" of the sensors or the Steering Column Control Module.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11739121,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"04/22/2026","dateComplaintFiled":"05/20/2026","vin":"1C4SJSFPXRS","components":"UNKNOWN OR OTHER","summary":"Rear sunroof glass imploded spontaneously and shattered while driving","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11738549,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"05/01/2025","dateComplaintFiled":"05/18/2026","vin":"1C4SJSAP2RS","components":"POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM","summary":"Transmission and fuel injector malfunction: Vehicle shutters upon acceleration. The vehicle has repeatedly been found dead after short periods of non-use, requiring jump starts and battery replacement. These electrical issues appear to affect multiple vehicle systems simultaneously.  While driving, advanced safety features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and proximity-based warning systems shut off, become unavailable, or behave inconsistently without warning. In some cases, warning messages appear and then clear on their own, while the affected safety systems remain disabled. At other times, the systems deactivate without any clear alert.  The manufacturer and dealer have acknowledged battery drain and electrical instability, but instead of permanently repairing the underlying problem, certain features were disabled to reduce battery draw. These include proximity-related features and other driver alerts. Disabling safety and warning systems does not correct the defect and creates an unsafe condition where the driver cannot rely on the vehicle\u2019s advertised safety features to function consistently.  Because these systems disable themselves or are intentionally disabled due to unresolved electrical issues, the vehicle cannot be relied upon to provide continuous lane-keeping assistance, collision warnings, or adaptive cruise functions. The failures are unpredictable and occur during normal operation, creating a safety risk to occupants and other drivers.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11703040,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"01/29/2024","dateComplaintFiled":"12/04/2025","vin":"1C4SJVGP3RS","components":"ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EQUIPMENT,ENGINE","summary":"The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The remedy by Crown CDJR in Columbus OH, was to replace the control module.  Performance CDJR of Gorgesville /Columbus OH had removed the center differential/transfer case for an inspection and performed updates.  None of the aforementioned warranty work, fixed the problem.  The vehicle has intermittent, apparent drivetrain differential locking issues, that require an ignition cycle.  In addition, the electronic limited slip rear axle appears to lock near 75% in Auto and Snow Mode, which renders the vehicle's operation unsafe. This is especially apparent in 25 to 45 MPH turns, sharp turns, as when merging from one intersection to a perpendicular other roadway. The car wants to go straight on slippery/wet pavement.  On the 25th of November, a video was taken, by chance, when the vehicle was merging onto Easton Way from the off ramp of 270 North.  The vehicle / car had a near miss of colliding with the concrete barrier of the Easton Way bridge.  The vehicle is, in its current state, unsafe!  The drivetrain growls and grinds while driving at low speeds.  Performance CDJR of Gorgesville Columbus OH admitted, on the record , via audio recording, that the vehicle is defective, but eventually, after three weeks in their service department released, the vehicle to my pregnant wife, as operating as intended.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]},{"odiNumber":11695427,"manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)","crash":false,"fire":false,"numberOfInjuries":0,"numberOfDeaths":0,"dateOfIncident":"09/12/2025","dateComplaintFiled":"10/24/2025","vin":"1C4SJVGP9RS","components":"ENGINE","summary":"Our car overheated because of a faulty thermostat leaving us on the side of the road stranded with kids in the car. It was a dealer car from original purchase. One month after purchasing [June 2025] the vehicle the car would not start. I called in roadside assistance to jump start the car. I took the car to a Jeep dealership for servicing. They recommended replacing both batteries. They mentioned one of the batteries were not an original. This must mean the dealer who owned and sold me the vehicle was aware of the battery issue. In late July, little over one month the vehicle would not start. I call for roadside assistance again. I dropped vehicle with dealership. I called two days later, and they could not discover the problem. They suggested I leave the vehicle for up to three weeks. This would give them sufficient time to attempt to discover the cause of the battery drainage. This is the first time I am experiencing any short coming from purchasing a vehicle since I started purchasing cars.  I am hoping a resolution has been discovered for the battery drainage issue for the 2024 Grand Wagoneer. The vehicle was brought into the dealership (Golling Jeep in Bloomfield Hills, MI) on multiple occasions\u2014first on January 22nd and again on February 7, 2025\u2014for drivetrain-related concerns, including rough idling, and warning lights. The vehicle was returned after temporary fixes, but the issues quickly recurred. On February 21, 2025, the vehicle was returned to the dealership and has remained there ever since. Despite repeated diagnostic and repair attempts over the last five months, the dealership has been unable to resolve the issue. As of July 2, 2025, their latest communication indicates that a complete engine replacement may be required. The symptoms included drivability issues and engine malfunction indicator lights. The vehicle\u2019s reliability deteriorated to the point where we felt unsafe using it for family transportation, especially on highways or long trips. The issue has been inspected and repeatedly confirmed by certified dealership technicians. The vehicle is available for inspection. I was barely given any warning of the rising temperature to allow myself to pull over safely. It never informed me it was rising, only when it was redlined near the max engine temp to which I had to immediately find a place to pull over. I didn't have enough time to get to the next exit 1 mile away, and had to pull over in an unsafe area and turn the car off until the engine cooled down while cars whizzed by us. Once cooled down enough, I was able to drive 1 mile to the next freeway exit but had to immediately pull over again into a center median as it was again overheating very quickly. My local dealership came to get the car and took my kids to school and me home while they inspected it and found a failing thermostat and water pump. I have only had the vehicle for 9 months and it only has 15,800 miles! This should not happen, at all, on a $135,000 vehicle. I also happened to notice a failing battery (no audio warning of this) on the display while scrolling through the menu looking for the engine temperature! So a brand new car has a failing battery, thermostat and heat pump..... unbelievable.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND WAGONEER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
