The vehicle was taken to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership for diagnosis. The dealer confirmed a major engine problem and determined that the cylinder head assembly requires replacement. I am concerned that the failure of a major internal engine component on a vehicle of this age and mileage could create a safety risk, particularly because the vehicle was running rough and shaking while being driven and the Check Engine warning was intermittent. The vehicle is currently at the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership and the cylinder head repair/replacement has begun. The dealer's documented diagnosis states: \u201cCylinder Head Assembly: Replace Cylinder Head.\u201d I am reporting this issue because I believe NHTSA should be aware of this engine/cylinder-head failure and determine whether other 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 vehicles have experienced similar failures.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"MERCEDES-BENZ","productModel":"GLB 250 4MATIC","manufacturer":"Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC"}]}]}
