IT IT NOT SUPPOSED TO BE POSSIBLE TO EXTEND THE AWNING WHILE THE ENGINE IS ON.  WE WERE ALSO TOLD THERE IS A SAFETY FEATURE THAT WILL NOT ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO DRIVE WITH THE AWNING EXTENDED.
