I inquired with the manufacturer as well and they state the bike is out of warranty and they will not do anything, even though they know it is a faulty part. The contact stated that while approaching a stop light at 35 MPH, the front brake lever failed to operate without warning. The contact needed additional brake travel time to stop the vehicle with the rear brake lever. The contact was able to drive the motorcycle home despite the brake failure. The dealer was notified of the failure; however, he was unable to make an appointment to have the vehicle serviced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired.
