If someone had been standing outside near the Van they surely would have bee hit/injured. Conditions; Sunny afternoon, no Wind, Flat surface.  I am the 2nd Owner of the Winnebago Travato Camper Van. Through my own research prior to buying the Van I was aware that there had been issues with the Carefree Awnings.  The Seller of my Van completed the recalls with repairs at the dealership where the Van was purchased.  I am concerned that the issue does not seem to be completely resolved.  I contacted Winnebago and La Mesa RV in the Phoenix AZ area for assistance.    La Mesa RV replied directing me to Contact Winnebago.....no response yet. Winnebago installs a second alternator that charges to Volta system's Lithium Battery Pack (A GL Model has lithium batteries).  Winnebago routes the wiring harness for this 2nd alternator through passenger side front wheel well.  There is the possibility that in sharp turns the tire will rub on the wiring harness, thus damaging it.  Other Travato owners have identified this rubbing issue (on a Travato Owner's Facebook group).
