There is no negligence of operator of vehicle, it is a manufacturing defect that affects thousands of GM vehicles and they are doing NOTHING about it except expecting customers to keep incurring cost to try to remedy a repair at our own expense which is unfair! We have to pay the deductible of 500.00 when it is finally fixed, plus, during the snow storm last week someone side swiped my rental car, and I have to give Enterprise 1500.00 when I turn in the car for my deductible from insurance. I read there is a 65 million$ law suit pending to GM for these faulty transmissions, yet they don\u2019t feel responsible to pay our expenses for something that IS THEIR PROBLEM, NOT OURS, but they have made it my problem, and I am shouldering all the financial burden of this, their faulty transmission. A SPAC case was created by our dealer in October of 2022, notifying the system of the urgent need and our dealer has followed up numerous times that GM has not provided any timeline for replacement. I have also filed a separate claim in January of 2023 to GM customer service notifying them of the ongoing issue and escalating to upper management. I have not heard back on mitigation or rectification plan for our issue. This ongoing issue is a major safety concern that has rendered my vehicle unfit for operation. I am unsure why GM is not making this major safety concern a priority because we are now in the middle of a Chicago winter we\u2019re temperatures are regularly below freezing. THE PROBLEM IS THE LOCK PIN IN THE ACTUATOR DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WHEN YOU TURN THE VEHICLE OFF CAUSING IT TO DRAIN ALL THE OIL OUT OF IT.  THIS CAUSES THE ACTUATOR TO RATTLE AROUND UNTIL IT GET OIL PRESSURE.  THIS WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSING ISSUES WITH YOUR TIMING CHAIN AND OTHER COMPONENTS INTERNALLY IN THE ENGINE.  VERY DISTURBING THAT GM KEEPS MAKING VEHICLES THAT WORK FINE, USUALLY, UNTIL THEY HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF WARRANTY. BATTERY OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY DEAD ON 7 JUNE 2019 WITH ABOUT 10,200 MILES.  DEALERSHIP KNEW I HAD APPOINTMENT AND I ASKED FOR TOW BUT THEY DON'T PROVIDE A TOW FROM REED-LALLIER.  ONSTAR WAS OF LITTLE HELP SO I CALLED MY USAA INSURANCE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO GET TRUCK JUMP STARTED; I MISSED APPOINTMENT AND THEY CANCELED APPOINTMENT THAT MORNING WHICH WAS TO CHECK FOR SHAKING AND ALSO 2ND OIL CHANGE. THEY SAID THEY STARTED THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES AFTER AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD.  THE NEXT DAY AFTER I PICKED THE TRUCK UP, IT DID THE SAME EXACT THING!  EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!  I KNOW A CONTINUOUS MISFIRE LET'S UNBURNED FUEL INTO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WHICH LEADS TO PREMATURE BREAKDOWN OF THE CATALYST.  SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS BEING DONE ABOUT THESE ISSUES?     ANOTHER ISSUE IS WITH THE TRANSMISSION.  ON A COLD START THERE IS A CLUNK NOISE.  THEN WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING AT CRUISING SPEED AND YOU LET OFF THE THROTTLE AND DEPRESS THROTTLE AGAIN THERE IS A SHUDDER.  ALSO, WHEN YOU COME TO A COMPLETE STOP THE VEHICLE TRIES TO JOLT FORWARD. WHEN TRYING TO PASS VEHICLES ON INTERSTATE IT VIBRATES SO BAD OVER 70 MPH I AM AFRAID TO WRECK.
