Through online forums & repair guides, I did some troubleshooting to determine which component I might need to order (i.e. fuse, relay, blower motor assembly, blower resistor, etc). During that research, many others noted that the blower resistor is known to become defective, and that melting of the resistor & the harness connector are common. This is exactly the situation I found, and it is not at all unreasonable to conclude that this could have easily resulted in a fire. These same parts are shared by the Pontiac Solstice and the Hummer H3 (for which, I believe, a recall was issued). The parts to fix this problem are not overly expensive & readily available -- and the replacement process is not difficult. What IS difficult is to think this is a known problem which can (& has) caused vehicle fires, and yet no recall or official notice has been issued to warn vehicle owners.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2007","productMake":"SATURN","productModel":"SKY","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
