When the codes were downloaded from the computer, one indicated a faulty passenger side air bag module.  At no time had any of the dashboard warning lights indicated a problem with the air bag system, so I had driven an unknown amount of miles without any indication it was malfunctioning, even though the vehicle's computer had an indication of a problem.
