The car was still running and the message said battery not charging. I had never experienced this. I panicked and powered the car off in the middle of the street. I turned it back it i could move forward but the steering wheel was locked. I got the car towed. 3 times because only jaguar can fix the problem. It’s the crankshaft pulley. My issue is my car is a 2015. There was a recall on this part March 2016. It was fixed by the dealership June 2016. I purchased the car January 2017. How is it that this part has gone bad so fast. Also with this part being able to break down out of no where why isn’t some kind of dashboard warning? There was no warning sound no lights or anything. Thank god I made it off the freeway. If this was a know issue in 2016 why not create a warning other than “battery not charging”?
