On one occasion it downshifted to 1st gear as I was travelling down the highway at 70 mph with my family in the vehicle. Tires locked up and vehicle slid but I was able to regain control and did not hit anything. In addition, in multiple occasions the Instrument Panel shuts off all the gauges for the exception of the RPM's and shows a wrench and loosing some power. Also while driving at low speeds the transmission disengages and slips but no sign of transmission issues. On all instances above I parked the vehicle, shut off for a minute, restart and drove away like nothing happened. No codes, no warnings. Brought it to several mechanics and they are not able to tell me whats wrong. Spoke to Ford and they said is nothing they have seen on the Ford Expedition but the symptoms are similar to an issue on a F-150. I'm very concerned as this can happened at any time and I know if it happens on snow It will probably cause a major accident.
