This is a safety hazard due to the fact that the light from other cars/stoplights reflects off the shiny/sticky surface. This problem is very prevalent in other cars as well. I tried to get it fixed through extended warranty, but that ended in 2020. I believe that Toyota should extend this warranty as we were in a lockdown for all of 2020, and I was not able to visit a repair shop.
