Had this happened on the highway a bit earlier it could have been a major accident as it was snowing heavily and there were snow plows and semis at high speeds. For the next 15 min the car would start and engine would stop on trying to accelerate. After raising the engine in reverse the car stayed on and we were able to come home. (I found across similar experiences from other Infiniti owners online.) Note : at a little over 70K mile the car had an issue where the acceleration suddenly dropped while driving. Dealer told us the engine was shot and we had to replace the engine.
