My vehicle has already been repaired for a prior recall regarding \"extended brake pedal travel\" (this \"repair\" did not fix this problem; in fact, it apparently passed the Ford-developed test, thus warranting no significant repair.  My father is a Ford automotive technician and he was also surprised by this result.
