If I were to have a flat on the highway the tire would not be able to change it because the lug nuts are too big. No wrench will fit it. Service man said because the nuts are a 2 part lug nut, moisture gets in and make the nuts swollen and they get to big to take off with the wrench. Is the part defective? Advice me the cost from the dealer to replace. I read that the possible cause is tightening the lugs too tight. Not using the proper torque when changing tires. I have only Ford work on my car and they know it’s defective because it happened to my husband’s car and they covered it. They should be replaced by Ford. It’s DEFECTIVE. Thank you!
