I took it into the shop for a diagnostic and they informed me that I need to replace the Positive Crankcase ventilation valve/Air Intake Hose. They told me that this is a common issue with this make of Mercedes and that they have done about 4 in just the past few months. Furthermore, they told me that this issue has been fixed on newer models of the same vehicle.
