This has happened with my wife and myself over 20 times.  I can shift it into neutral and restart the car.  Sometimes it takes 2-3 times to start the car (again).  One time I was going down a hill on a curve about 30mph and it shut down.  I could barely turn the steering wheel manually to prevent me crossing the double yellow lines into another car.  This could be very dangerous!  I have not gotten around to taking it to a dealer 60 miles away.  My car has not been inspected by anyone yet.
