Immediately had my mechanic look at it and they were able to repair it.   They were able to reattach spring but could not attach sealing plate without a disassemble.  Had to replace the fuel neck assembly. No warning lights had come on dash for gas vapor, or other things.  I have pictures of mileage and broken fuel filler cap.   This could have been disastrous if I was in some small town that could not get parts or had run out of gas somewhere or if gas vapors started leaking.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2017","productMake":"BUICK","productModel":"ENVISION","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
