Nissan replaced the component 6-30-2022 at a cost to me of 852.72. I spoke with several service technicians at this dealership and I quote... yep, this happens all the time with these clock springs. I called Nissan consumer affairs. My case number was 46685014.  They said since this is covered under the 5 year 60 K miles that they would not cover the cost. My 2014 truck has 66K.  I said to them I felt that this is a safety issue and there should not be a time or mileage limit attached to a safety issue since the airbags will not deploy and that this problem is occurring often, according to Nissan's own service technicians.    Also, from one of Nissan's website \"How often do Air Bag Clocksprings need replacement? The airbag clock spring is designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle.   I feel this should be investigated by your agency.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"NISSAN","productModel":"FRONTIER","manufacturer":"Nissan North America, Inc."}]}]}
