The wheel was straightened, and the vibration was resolved.  Left rear tire lost pressure while driving on open road in Wyoming.  Managed to get to Les Schwab tire store.  They removed the wheel/tire assembly, submerged in water tank and found the air leaking through the cracked wheel.  Dash warning light had come on indicating the loss of pressure.  Local GM dealer (Whistler Chevrolet) was able to order a replacement wheel and it was installed the next day.
