The rear suspension on this model of Lexus was simply epoxied in place permanently. The recall \"resolution\" approved by NHTSA and implemented by Lexus does not allow for the common maintenance on the vehicle - namely, alignment. Therefore, inordinate and substantial tire wear occurs due to the inability to align the wheels. The only way to “align” the tires is to buy completely new suspension parts (approximately $900) which will then be permanently epoxied in place again. Instead of the normal alignment ($100) again in an expected maintenance period, the Lexus dealer requires entire replacement again. This recall was NOT repaired. This recall was permanently and unsafely epoxied in place without the possibility of alignment needed for safety. It is unsafe to drive a car that cannot be aligned properly.   Tire failure is a real and present danger.
