The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V192000 (Visibility) however, upon contacting the dealer four weeks later, the dealer informed the contact that the vehicle had been taken to a third-party technician where the windshield was cracked in the process of completing the recall repair. The dealer informed the contact that they were awaiting the part to replace the windshield. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time to complete the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that the part would be available in October 2022. The contact stated that the vehicle had been at the dealer since June 15, 2022. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 23,296.
