Vehicle information display reports the fault and illuminates the red dashboard airbag light. This condition caused by wire harness / conductor fatigue between drivers side door and vehicle body. Observed that if driver's side door moved to certain positions while open the fault would clear. Eventually these wires in the door harness failed due to normal open / close cycles with the door upon entry / exit and now have completely failed so that the dashboard airbag lamp stays illuminated at all times.  I have a 2010 Toyota Venza that has a recall on the same type of issue.  Why is GM not recalling vehicles for this issue?  My dealer has acknowledged that they have seen this issue, but no recall has been issued so they are not able to address it as such.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2012","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"SILVERADO 1500","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
