The first one exploded on 9/12/22 while driving the car on a sunny, wind free day. Sounded like a gunshot hit the glass and was frightening. Car is 8 years old at time of incident. I see this has been an ongoing issue with Ford/Lincoln since 2007. These parts need t be recalled. The glass alone is $3300 with total 3 day repair over $5K! Had to find a glass vendor who could shrink wrap exterior/interior so glass would not fall into vehicle and rain would not enter vehicle.
