The vehicle was serviced by Chevrolet under warranty on Dec. 5, 2017, for a transmission shake and/or shudder repair using the flush methods described in Bulletin No. 18-NA-355, but it has continued to exhibit a transmission shake or shudder. My local Chevrolet dealership has now diagnosed the vehicle as having a torque converter with excessive slippage and recommended a replacement torque converter at a cost of $3,450 including parts and labor, or a total transmission replacement at a cost of $8,100. My vehicle currently has 24,473 miles on the odometer.
