The contact stated that the fire extended and burned the entire vehicle. There were no physical injuries sustained. However, the contact and her children sustained trauma. The contact was able to extinguish the fire with the assistance of the fire department. A fire department report was filed. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, where it was totaled. The used car dealer was notified of the failure. The contact later received a recall notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V056000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic), which she associated with the failure. The Hyundai dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure.
