In 2018, we contacted the local dealer about the first belt's issues and were told that the belt had been sliced.  This determination was made without ever accessing the inside of the belt mechanism and likely was simply said to get rid of us.  In 2022, a second seat belt started having the same problem, so we opened a case with American Honda in July 2022.
