Toyota says they notified me but I never received a notice in the mail. I called them at least four times, but they would not do the necessary replacement, saying that I was beyond the period of their offer to replace it. The problem seemed to occur some years after the purchase which was not visible till about two years ago.  I consider this a safety problem because of the glare in the modern tilted windshields.
