It resolved on its own. This was in august on a hot sunny day, no rain, no fog.   The second occurrence just happened two weeks ago. It was sunny, 55-65 degrees, 35-49 PMH approx 3 vehicles back while turning south from rote 27 in mount airy maryland onto Penn shop road, the vehicle did the same thing. Indicated I was going to crash, applied the breaks automatically and almost caused an accident with a vehicle traveling behind me.   First time I thought was a fluke- second time- no. Will be sending to dealer.
