The entire cable assembly was replaced.  That repair has now failed and the sliding door is inoperable.  The cable snapped and the driver side door will not open.  I am afraid that it may open while driving, which caused the recall in the first place.  I don't want to drive the vehicle for fear of the other sliding door failing as well.  These repairs should last much longer than 5 years, especially something as important as the sliding door, where all the children sit.  What a huge safety issue for what is supposed to be a vehicle for hauling children around.
