I was over at my uncle's house when this happened and could not take the freeway home fearing that the hood might pop up while driving at a higher speed than on the city streets. When I got home, I got on my computer, and found that NIssan has a recall on other models for defective latches for the same year as my 2016 Nissan Murano.
