Within a few miles of that, the car displayed virtually every warning message it has… something in the range of 20 different alarms. The onboard computer showed the problem to be 1 cylinder running too lean. The fix was to replace the fuel injector on that cylinder, but Honda now only sells the injector in sets of 4 for their 4 cyl engines. I ended up paying $1438 to have all the injectors replaced in a car that is not even 5 yrs old. This follows the replacement of a faulty A/C compressor for $2200 a year ago when the car had around 45000 miles. These kinds of premature failures are more and more common in Honda’s , and it’s clear Honda is doing nothing to address the issues if a car is out of the 36k mile warranty. Outrageous!!!!
