The lights are so dim I have to drive with my brights on, which is dangerous to other drivers.  If I do not use the high beams, I am not able to see what is on the side of the road at night. There could be a person, other vehicle, etc. Therefore an accident could occur or someone could be injured. Cadillac was assisting with repair costs but that ended a couple years ago and I did not know about it as I did not receive a letter. This is a known defect and many people have expressed concern (I found a forum discussion online regarding this issue). My dealer has quoted a price of $2131.39 to replace the headlight assembly.
