This transmission shudder necessitates releasing the accelerator pedal, slowing down, sometimes selecting a different driving mode (i.e., SPORT, ECON, etc,).  This has caused difficulty joining the traffic stream, especially at highway \"on ramps\" and when we have to accelerate quickly to join traffic even during \"in town\" driving.   This initially started last summer and was inconsistent (about 110,000 miles on the vehicle). The last week it has happened repeatedly.
