While they work well for a normal adult, children have difficulty latching the belt from a booster seat, especially if a Weathertech or similar seat protector are present.  Secondly, the middle passenger belt latch is not identical in size to its left and right counterparts. Difficulty accessing the right passenger latch may lead to people attempting to use the middle belt latch as an alternative. This will fail to latch if attempted using the right passenger's belt.
