The car stopped and would not start. Definitely the safety of the passengers and the people behind were put at risk because of stalled car due to engine failure at a busy intersection. It is a 2018 model and followed the Audi's recommended maintenance schedule.   Check engine light was on few days before and diagnosed to be a failure of a sensor by an independent service center and was waiting to get the part.
