Per the Jeep service tech, this could cause a wheel to collapse. The vehicle is available for inspection at time of writing this. Jeep has inspected the vehicle and quoted for repair at $4,439.16.   The only reason we were even made aware was because the vehicle had a flat tire and the tire shop noted the severe rust damage to the rear subframe.
