Was replaced by Ford and 1,400 miles later it blew up.  2.5 hours into a 9 hour road trip the transmission started leaking and hitting the exhaust pipe and caused the fluid to flare as it hit the hot exhaust.  Vehicle filled with caustic smoke and odor.  Put my family (with small children) in a very dangerous situation on interstate 64 on the side of Afton Mountain.  Out of the 6 months I have owned this vehicle it has been at the Ford dealership 4.5 months while they try to figure it out.
