This was a known defect on the 2012-2014 models. Toyota offered a recall on those models but not the 2015. Many other owners are also reporting a faulty torque converter on their cars. The is the exact same issue as the previous model year but Toyota is not covering the defect. This poses a major safety risk as acceleration is inconsistent and compromised while driving the vehicle.
