We had a check engine light come on prior to the incident but was never Indicated when checked at the shop that this was the problem. As far as safety goes you never know when it is going to act up. It usually doesn't have power from the get go or loses power while driving, Putting people's safety at risk as it will slow down to almost stopping or not go at all. It also continually blows black smoke. It has been inspected by the dealership. It has been inspected by an insurance adjuster all confirmed the hype.
