It made it impossible to see. It continued to rain that whole week so I took my car into the shop immediately to get the windshield wipers looked at and had to get a rental car in the meantime since I could not drive without the windshield wipers with it raining in North Carolina the whole week. I also needed the rental car to get to work while the car was in the shop.  I recieved a call from the Chevy dealership and they said there had been a recall on the a part related to the windshield wipers and that the issue with my wipers was due to that part failing. I have never recieved information from Chevy on the recall for the windshield wiper part. If I would have known I would have gotten it replaced to avoid the issues I have had to go through.  Because I could not see when my windshield wipers failed it not only put me at risk but others on the road. It was very sudden and scary. The vehicle has been inspected and fixed by the manufacturer. There was no warning signs, it was very random.  I was able to get the part fixed for free but the part had to be ordered by the chevy dealership and I had to have my rental car for two days. It was a very expensive fix, although the part was replaced, because I had to have the rental car. It was $388.54 for the rental car.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"EQUINOX","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
