All recalls were resolved prior to the engine failure.   I was on a 4 lane bridge that was 7 miles long over Tampa Bay in heavy traffic. The engine light started flashing, the oil light came on and there was a loud knocking noice. Traffic was going anywhere from 65-75+ MPH. I lost acceleration,  had to turn on hazards to try to get over. It\u2019s amazing that we were not rear ended and injured when this happened. The Tucson was running fine prior to the engine failure.   The dealer notes display: 99947 - engine failed bearing replaced long block engine and road tested.   The engine blew on 5/28/2023. The replacement was completed on Saturday July 1, 2023 when the dealer called to say it was ready.
