However oil consumption is the cause. Hyundai allows for 1quart of oil loss every 1000 miles. There should be no oil loss. Before I could get an oil consumption test my motor started knocking. The dealership was supposed ask for goodwill assistance but never did. They found no compression in cylinder 4 and stated since it wasn\u2019t a rod bearing failure they would not cover it. Also they are using third party BBB to turn down complaints which should be a violation of the consumers rights.
