We fixed it at the Nissan dealership. Periodically, the engine would stop when I went reversed. This mainly happened in the summer. About two years ago, the A/C went out again. I noticed both the stalling in reverse and the A/C not working (not sure if related). The engine stalled and smoke came out of the engine. We fixed the engine--basically saying that it was an A/C issue. Last year during the summer months, the same thing happened. We again, fixed the A/C.
