The manufacturer never reached out to.let me know. I live in Hawaii on the Big Island and we no longer have a Mazda dealership so I contacted Mazda Customer Service for help getting repaired. They said I had to pay for the repair myself and file for reimbursement. When I went to Kia in Kona to see if they would repair it, they explained the manufacturer is supposed to take care of recalls at no cost to me.
