If the brake is wet due to rain and the car sits overnight or for 12 hours or more, the brake sticks to the rotor.  The brake will not release unless you press down on the accelerator creating a safety hazard as the car will jerk forward or in reverse.  I've raised this with the MB dealer and service technician and they confirm the this Amy happen and that there is no fix.
